Yuvan's 8th month

Yuvan has completed eight months on 6th of August. since this is our last month in Cyprus we all went put to Pafos to celebrate, but as usual Yuvan slept on the way and woke up when we came back.Anyways we all had a nice dinner in the name of yuvan.

As his bath tub is not big enough for him to play he started having his bath in the big tub.He enjoys it a lot, Probably he is thinking it as a minature of swimming pool.

Since he started standing by holding stuffs....He stands like this in the morning and keeps looking for us....if he can't find us he calls us from there....when we enter he welcomes us with a big laugh.

Yuvan like to stand a lot.....though he can't balance himself for more than a second or 2, he likes it......Vidya got this dress for him when he started sitting himself.

Yuvan with Priya's Brother. He doesn't go to everyone only selected people. It took him 2 days to get used to his uncle. Other than him he goes only to Vidya. With Vidya he is so happy ao we started going out by leaving with Vidya.

Yuvan sat down by himself on friday......This is the photo taken immediately after he sat down.......Also he started standing by himself for a long time holding his chair.........so we r very busy with him.....

Now that Yuvan started sitting, he enjoys his playpan. Here he is surrounded by his toys and playing his keyboard.

Yuvan started taking his swimming lessons and he is doing good. He enjoys the pool very much and in the third session he started using his hands and legs for swimming. Yuvan started to stand by holding his chair. He is not able to balance after that, but he likes to stand if somebody holds him. Lately he started to sit by himself with minimal support.

We got this playpen for him to play safely.....but he neither sits inside this nor sleeps in this.....one more stuff taking the free space we had in our living room..... 

Yuvan's First Vegetables

This is the Bowl and Spoon we bought for his first vegetable puree.......He had mashed Carrot, Potato & Zucchini......First day he didn't like it and resisted a lot, but later he started enjoying the taste. 

Swimming Lessons - First Day

Yuvan started to take his swimming lessons from last week and this was the photo taken on the first day. On this day we were just holding him in the pool for him to get used to the water. He enjoyed there and playing with the water all the time. 

Champaign for Yuvan

Bindhu & Harish opened a chapaign bottle for Yuvan's sixth month birthday. Tried to catch the cork in the photo - well I was not fast enough :-)

Yuvan's- Six Months B'day

A post after a very long time. This photo was taken on his sixth month B'day (6/6/06 - Half devil :-) ). Everyday he is learning new things. He rolls over by himself, tries to move forward and backward and seeks constant attention. From this month we started to feed him mashed vegetables and fruits. Also he got his first tooth last week !!! 

First Solid Food

This is Yuvan having his first solid food. We tried Nestle Cerelac Rice Cereals and he liked it very much. As it is the first day we just gave him just 5-6 spoons, well if you know Guru you know where the leftover went :-) 

First Plate and Spoon

Today Yuvan completes five months. The doctor gave a go-ahead for solid food and we decided to start it from today. So we bought his first plate and spoon.

Started to hold his legs.

Yuvan started to hold his legs like this. He almost takes them to his mouth. But for turning around he is doing everything else :-)
Now a days it is funny to watch him in shower. He tries to hold the water coming from the shower and during this attempt his face expression is priceless.
