Yuvan with his maternal grandparents. Today they were sad that they have to return back to India leaving Yuvan here.
யுவனுடைய தாத்தா பாட்டி (பிரியாவின் பெற்றோர்கள்). இரண்டு பேரும் வருத்தத்தோடு (யுவனை பிரிவதால்) இன்று இந்தியாவிற்கு கிளம்பினார்கள்.

Pictures taken in SLR - SLR கேமராவில் எடுத்த படங்கள்.

I tried to take some pictures of Yuvan using Harish's SLR. Well as I said before, it is not just the camera, looks like the person who takes the picture also affect the output !!! Anyhow I have put two pictures which came out good - do mind that the scanning quality is not that great.

Yuvan's 50th day !!! - யுவனுடைய ஐம்பதாவது நாள் !!!

A post after very long gap. Actually the climate in Cyprus was bad and my digital camera (for this matter any digi camera) output is not that good in bad light. So we didn't take many pictures of Yuvan during this period and we thought we'll take it on his 50th day. But unfortunately he had to be admitted in hospital for Urinery Track Infection (#$%#$%) and had to spend his 50th day in the hospital :-) So here is the picture of yuvan enjoying with his friend (blue man) in the hospital. He did have a nice time there and atlast got discharged from hospital by today evening.
ரொம்ப நாளைக்கு பிறகு ஒரு போஸ்ட். பத்து நாளா ஸைப்பிரஸ் வானிலை படு மட்டமா இருந்தது. அதனால போட்டோ எதுவும் எடுக்கல. யுவனோட ஐம்பதாவது நாள்ல போட்டோ எடுக்கலாம்னு இருந்தோம். ஆனா அத ஆஸ்பத்திரில கொண்டாட வேண்டியதாயிருச்சு. ஆனா ஆஸ்பத்திரில நல்லா ஜாலியா இருந்தான். இன்னிக்கு தான் ஆஸ்பத்திரில இருந்து டிஸ்சார்ஜ ஆனான். ்

Yuvan's First Pongal - யுவனுடைய முதல் பொங்கல் தினம்

Yuvan's first Pongal. He is wearing a new dress bought by Priya. The dress was big for him, so he just wore it for sometime and changed to other dress bought by our landlady. It was yet another day for him, but for two new visitors - Jacob & Karthi. He was very comfortable with Daya (Jacob's wife) and was with her for a very long time.
யுவனுடைய முதல் பொங்கல் தினம். அவனோட அம்மா புது உடை வாங்கியிருந்தாங்க. அது பெருசா இருந்ததால கொஞ்ச நேரம் போட்டுட்டு அப்புறம் மாத்திட்டான். இன்னிக்கு ஜேக்கபும் கார்த்தியும் அவன பாக்க வந்தாங்க. தயா (ஜேக்கப்பின் மனைவி) கூட யுவன் ரொம்ப நேரம் அமைதியா இருந்தான்.

Yuvan's first Boghi - யுவனுடைய முதல் போகி பண்டிகை

Today is Yuvan's first Boghi (first day of Pongal festival - if you dont know what is Pongal visit http://members.tripod.com/~jap5/hindufestivals/pongal.html). He was very cool today, got up by 4:30, had milk, burped without issues (well if you had a kid, you know what i am talking about) and spent time with this grandparents. He got lots of dress from prabhu & pradha (my brother and his wife) and he is wearing one of them for boghi.
யுவனுடைய முதல் போகி பண்டிகை. இன்னிக்கு காலைல நல்ல mood-ல இருந்தான். பால் குடிச்சிட்டு, நல்லா ஏப்பம் விட்டு அவன் தாத்தா பாட்டி கூட விளையாடினான். பிரபுவும் பிரதாவும் (என் தம்பியும் தம்பி மனைவியும்) யுவனுக்கு நிறைய துணி அனுப்பியிருந்தாங்க. அதுல ஒரு சட்டை இன்னிக்கு release பண்ணியாச்சு.

Yuvan's latest favourite toy - பிடித்த பொம்மை

The blue toy on the left side of the cot is his latest favourite toy. This was also gifted by Vidya & Rajaram. We left him alone in the cot and he was trying to talk to the toy :-). Probably the toy looked like his father :-)
யுவனோட பிடிச்ச பொம்மை பட்டியல்-ல இப்பொ முதல் இடத்துல இருக்கறது அந்த நீல கலர் பொம்மை (இடது பக்கம்). அந்த பொம்மைய பாத்து பேச try பண்றான். இந்த பொம்மைய அவனுக்கு கொடுத்தது வித்யாவும் ராஜாராமும்.

Yuvan's cot - யுவனுடைய கட்டில்

Well now we realized that we didn't take picture of his cot. This is his bed and he likes it a lot. Today he started to notice the toys around him.
யுவனுடய கட்டிலை படம் எடுக்கலைனு நேத்து தான் realize பண்ணோம். அவனுக்கு இந்த கட்டில் ரொம்ப பிடிச்சிருக்கு. இன்னனக்கு காலை-ல இருந்து சுத்தி இருக்கிற பொம்மை எல்லாம் பாக்க ஆரம்பிச்சுட்டான்.

Eskimo Dress - எஸ்கிமோ உடை

Yuvan in his eskimo dress. Vidya & Rajaram gifted this dress and we used it for the first time yesterday to visit his doctor. BTW now his weight is 4.7 kgs and had grown 58.5 cms tall. Looks like he is going to be a tall boy.
இந்த சட்டைய வித்யாவும் ராஜாராமும் gift பண்ணாங்க. நேத்து தான் முதல் தடவையா அவனுக்கு போட்டோம். நேத்து ஸைப்பிரஸ்-ல நல்ல குளிர், so இந்த dress அவனுக்கு குளிருக்கு அடக்கமா இருந்தது. ஓரு மாசத்தில அவன் 4.7 கிலோ எடை இருக்கான். 8.5 cms (பிறந்தப்போ 50 cms) வளர்ந்துட்டான்.

Yawn - கொட்டாவி

These photos were taken today. The first one is when he starts to yawn and the next one is somewhere in the end. We were not fast enough to capture the middle part :-) It is interesting to see his expressions particularly when he tries to do poo-poo :-)
இந்த படம் இன்னிக்கு எடுத்தது. முதல் படம் கொட்டாவி விட ஆரம்பிக்கும் போது எடுத்தது. இரண்டாவது படம் கொட்டாவி முடியும் போது எடுத்தது. இந்த சமயத்தில அவன் முகம் போற போக்கு பாக்க interesting-அ இருக்கும்.

Started noticing - நல்லா பாக்க அரம்பிச்சுட்டான்

This picture was taken today just before he started crying for food. He started noticing people and laughs when he hears Harish. This photo do show his big forehead - inherited from his mother.
யுவன் சாப்பிட அழுகிறதுக்கு முன் எடுத்த படம். இப்பல்லாம் நல்லா பாத்து சிரிக்கிறான். ஹரிஷ் குரல் கேட்டாலே சிரிக்கிறான். அவனோட அம்மா மாதிரி பெரிய நெத்தி இருக்கறது இந்த படம் பாத்தா தெரியும்.

It's sunbath time... - சூரிய நமஸ்காரம்

Everyday in the morning we are exposing Yuvan to sunlight for a while. He does enjoy this time. Here mother and the kid taking sunbath on 7th Jan.
தினமும் காலைல யுவன் சூரிய நமஸ்காரம் பண்றான். (Sun bath-கு தமிழ் வார்த்தை சிக்கல :-)) இது குளிர் காலம், so வெயில்-ல காமிக்கிறது அவனுக்கு ரொம்ப பிடிச்சிருக்கு. படத்துல கூட இருக்கிறது அவனோட அம்மா.்

First-month Birthday - முதல் மாத பிறந்த நாள்

Photo taken on yuvan's first-month birthday. We didn't do much on that day.. We planned to put different dresses, but didn't happen as he was not in a good mood. Probably he got upset as he is getting older :-). Somebody told me that B&W pictures shows more expressions, after taking some pictures I realized that it also requires some skills on the photographers side :-)
முதல் மாத பிறந்த நாள். இன்னிக்கு எதுவும் பண்ணலை. அவன் பேர சொல்லி வழக்கம் போல நல்லா விருந்து சாப்பிட்டோம். அவனுக்கு விதவிதமா சட்டை போடலாம்-னு நினைச்சோம். ஆனா அவனுக்கு மூடு சரியில்லை. வயசாகுது-னு கவலை போல :-). So எதுவும் பண்ணல.

Day before his one-month birthday

Day before his one-month birthday. Now a days he laughs a lot when you talk to him and started noticing things around him. Ganesh & Vidya gifted a rattle toy and he likes it very much. Laughs a lot whenever we show that to him.
ஓரு மாத பிறந்த நாளுக்கு முன் எடுத்த படம். பேசினா நல்லா சிரிக்கிறான். கிலுகிலுப்பை (உபயம்: கணேஷும் வித்யாவும்) அவனுக்கு ரொம்ப பிடிச்சிருச்சு. அத காட்டினாலே சிரிக்கிறான்.

Yuvan completed 4th week - யுவனுடைய நான்காவது வாரம்

Yuvan's 4th week completion. Enjoying in his dress. From this week he started to smile if somebody talks to him. Well he even tries to hold his neck without support and succeded many a times ;-)
யுவனுடைய நான்காவது வாரம் முடிந்தது. இந்த வாரத்தில யாராவது பேசினா நல்லா சிரிக்கிறான். Infact களுத்து support இல்லாம தலைய மெதுவா தூக்கவும் ஆரம்பிச்சுட்டான்.

Fight to have photo with Yuvan - யுவனுடன் முதல் படம்

Well there was big fight on who will take the first photo with Yuvan in the new year. While everybody fighting behind, Bindhu was keen in his objective as you can see it.
புது வருடத்தில யுவன் கூட முதல் படம் எடுக்க ஹரிஷும், பிந்துவும் நின்னாங்க. மத்த எல்லாரும் கூட நிக்க பாத்தாங்க. அங்க பெரிய கலாட்டா நடக்க பிந்து மட்டும் கருமமே கண்ணா படம் எடுக்க நின்னுட்டு இருந்தாரு :-)

Yuvan's first new year party - புது வருட கொண்டாட்டம்

We had a nice party in the name of Yuvan with our friends.
யுவன் பேரை சொல்லி புது வருட தினத்தை நாங்க நல்லா சாப்பிட்டு கொண்டாடினோம். யுவனுடன் நான், பிந்து, விஷால், ஹரிஷ், ப்ரியா, வித்யா, ரேவதி மற்றும் யுவனுடைய பாட்டி.

Happy New Year - இனிய புத்தாண்டு நல்வாழ்த்துக்கள்

Yuvan's first new year. Taken at 12:00 in the night. Normally this is his feeding time, but today he was sleeping a bit more.
யுவனுடைய முதல் புத்தாண்டு தினம். இந்த படத்தை 12:00 மணிக்கு எடுத்தோம். இந்த நேரத்தில் எப்பவும் முழிச்சிட்டு இருப்பான், ஆனா இன்னிக்கு நல்லா தூங்கிட்டு இருந்தான்.
